The 6th LUMEN International Scientific Conference – Rethinking Social Action. Core Values was designed as the continuation of a bigger and innovative project developed by LUMEN Association and LUMEN Research Center for Social and Humanistic Sciences ’s researchers, together with their extremely involved collaborators. The origins of the project are in the program developed by the LUMEN Research Center for Social and Humanistic Sciences, Communicative Action and the Social Construction of Affirmative –Appreciative Ethics, this LUMEN Conference edition being the second one which was covered in this enlarged program, the first edition being developed in 2014, under the topic of “Transdisciplinarity and Communicative Action”.
The volume resulted from this 6th edition has a transdisciplinary orientation, also. Original works that include innovative theoretical approaches, as well as works based on the analysis of empirical data were privileged. Areas such as social sciences, psychology, education sciences, applied ethics, political sciences, economics, management, law, philosophy and humanities were approached in an enlarged manner, in each of the domain approached authors paying a special attention on its core values.
